My Psychotherapy Practice in Solihull

I am an experienced psychotherapist based in Shirley, Solihull in the West Midlands. I help clients with common issues including relationship difficulties, abuse, bereavement and loss, anxiety, depression and problem behaviour. This usually involves regular sessions once a week or sometimes more intensively twice or three-times a week at my Solihull practice.

I also supervise the work of other therapists. I was involved with the training of psychotherapists for nine years, serving as Chair and committee member on the Training in Contemporary Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy offered by the West Midlands Institute for Psychotherapy in Birmingham. I am now a training therapist for the course.

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy is a talking therapy which is helpful in managing a wide range of emotional and relationship issues.  As a psychoanalytic psychotherapist I can help you think and talk about the feelings you have about yourself and other people and I can help you make connections between the past and your present situation.
